Co-creating/ Participatory design with Children

  1. Define the roles. Adults should become more playful and the children should know and understand that their participation is equal to others.
  2. Consider the child’s rights in the editorial process.
  3. Be aware of the open and close approach method.
  4. Consider the benefits of the child and the company on the topics as:Compensation: the best practise is to tell participants before the session what they will get.

Experience: consider the transparency of the situation, explain what will happen and why, a session might be normal workday for you but a memorable experience for the child.

Learning: tell them what they will learn.
